Many people’s lives can go through ups and downs. I am proud to provide a comfortable and private space to help you explore anything that may be affecting your life, and work on ways to make you feel better.
As a counsellor, I offer a 1-1 confidential, warm and non-judgmental service. One that offers a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings and help you to find a way to therapeutically deal with these and move forward. I understand how difficult it is to take the first step and make the initial contact so please feel reassured that I work in an empathetic and respectful manner, taking sessions at your own pace.
It's not unusual for people to worry.
Please rest assured that there is no right or wrong way for a counselling session to go. If it's something bothering you, however big or small, then it's worth bringing it to the session. We all need to take time out from time to time. We will work through the subject together with unconditional respect and without judgement, which will all help the healing process to begin.
Working with a counsellor often transforms how you feel and how you cope with life.
I use an integrative model, using both Person Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy, which may be adapted to suit your individual situation and nature. Services are open to anyone over the age of 16 irrespective of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religion.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and therefore adhere to a professional code of ethics and practice.
I work within the BACP ethical framework and regularly attend continuous professional development training in various subjects.
I hold a Public Liability Insurance certificate and have a current Enhanced Certificate with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Where is it?
My practice is in the wonderful countryside of Staffordshire. It is also on the outskirts of Telford and Wolverhampton. The location allows for people to come and go discreetly and be able to relax in the calming countryside.
It is also conveniently situated 10 minutes from junction 12 of the M6.
